SAB Sneak Peek

Although I can't show you the actual Stamp Set, I am allowed to post samples. These examples would make great masculine cards and I hope to change them up to  make a "prettier" version.. sorry but the pic turned out a little dark, maybe it's the SAB gremlins  :)

We had a small class this week to start our New Year.....taking care of those withdrawal symptons accumulated over the holidays!

School Helpers

This year I'm going into Pictou Elementary school to help make Christmas Cards with Donna's class. They have penpals at a school in Ontario and are excited to send their Holiday Greetings.

I made these bookmarks as a treat but maybe they'll be busy little elves and help?

Artistic Friends

I recieved 2 beautiful cards from friends who are also wonderful artists!

Anne is a regular member of my stamping group and each year she has a card made with a print of her latest work....isn't this girl a beauty? Thankyou Anne!

Joanne is also a wonderful artist who is inspired by native/natural art elements and her card is also a print from one of her works.... I love this! Thankyou Joanne!

Oh My! Where has this month gone?

I couldn't believe just how busy my days have been and how long it has been since I last updated my blog.....Hopefully you are all busy too! :)

No classes were held in December but 7 of our regular girls took part in a card swap and Christmas get-together where we had a lovely lunch and happy chatter.

Wrap It Up Class

Last night was our Wrap It Up class and we had fun embellishing a gift bag with tag and even the tissue paper. Another project was a bottle topper, makes gift giving so much more exciting.

We also tried our hand at making a folded ornament and the girls' did beautifully but I forgot to take pictures of their lovely creations...oooops!

Burnished Metal Technique

Francie had a video showing the burnished metal technique, sooo...I had a try! Doesn't look quite as metallic as she had shown but I enjoyed the process (a lot of steps) but really easy!

Playtime

Had so much fun playing in my stamp room (closet).

Ornaments

I just had to make the beautiful Ornament on the front of the Holiday Mini catalogue and a couple of smaller versions... so pretty!
