Punch Art Class

Did you ever have to try and remember all the punches needed to make your favourite punch art?
This class we will make 8 technique samples for some cute card candy...
a couple of creatures, a cute baby, two Halloween/Fall and 3 Christmas... the possibilities are endless.
I'll post the pics soon.....watch this space :)

OOPS!

I cannot believe that it has been two whole months since my blog was updated...
During the summer months I am always a little slow on the upkeep :)
We were in Alberta during June for some family celebrations..my grandson, Adam, turned 4 and we had a Monster truck party with a huge inflatable, which was enjoyed by the kids and adults alike!
Also, my newest grandaughter, Hannah, was Baptised too... a lovely afternoon spent with family and friends.
Most of our Summer is spent at the lake...no internet...no cell...Heaven!
Now to start looking at Christmas, yes I said it Christmas..the new Holiday Catalogue is available at the end of the month and I have to prepare a Launch...but first another quick class this weekend...

Mixed Class

The NEW Annual Catalogue went live this week and the class on Monday includes some NEW product mixed with old favourites of mine....

These were made with the very popular Work of Art stamp set...the first can be used as a tag or added to a card. The notecard is perfect to let send a message or card of thanks.

 

This is an old fancy fold card, the screen divider... it can also be made with 3 panels...Thoughts and Prayers is the stamp set used on this card.

 

Another new set is Something for Baby, which comes with matching framelits. Buy both together and save 15%.

The Envelope Punch Board was used to create this card with belly band ....

Secret Sister May

As you know I have joined a Secret Sister swap for 2014... These 2 cards were recieved for the month of May.

Mainly Men

Masculine cards have always been a hard class for me... it is so easy to always find inspiration for feminine cards.

Fathers' Day is just around the corner and so this class took place.....

 

The owl builder punch was used on this cute card!

 

An old technique, hair gel, was the basis for this By the Tide card.

 

 

Another favourite of mine, Lovely as a Tree, used on this clean and simple card.

 

Pennant Punch was used to create these whimsical Bow Ties.

Bouquet of Flowers

This wintery weather has to go...now the rain, but that means May Flowers. To celebrate we had a class with a variety of flower inspired cards.

My favourite stamp set was used for this, any guesses? Yes! Everything Eleanor :)

This is a simple 4 x 4 card using Smokey Slate, my go to grey!

 

Use of framelits and embossing folder to create this one...

Easter Sunday

No pics with this post, just wanted to wish you all a wonderful Easter. Lots of family and friends to share your Easter meal with and of course .... hope the Easter Bunny found you all and left treats, not forgetting chocolate mmmm..!
Turkey is in the oven, veggies prepared and rolls are golden....and my favourite dessert made (Lemon Meringue Pie) so I hope you all have your favourites too.

Envelope Card

Isn't this a great use for our envelopes.. can you tell how it started out?

 

After the flap was cut off, I ran it through the bigshot with the Fancy Fold embossing folder.

 

Surprise! There is a pull out layer too!

Happy Easter

Today I would like to share a little Bunny Treat Holder.. He was made with the Oval Framelits and Petite Purse die (retired).

 

Of course I had to show his cute bunny tail too!

Spring is here to stay!

The sun is shining, the snow is melting and temperatures are on their way up! Yeah, Finally!!!
Here we are into the 2nd week of April, Easter is approaching fast but still have a blanket of snow..hope the Easter Bunny can hide his eggs without leaving clues with his footprints :)

Mondays' class was cards folded with a twist.....

First we tried our hand at card-in-a-box, have you seen them? They are all over the 'net'.

 

We used Betsey's Blossom stamp set for this one.

 

 

Do you remember making Spinner cards? Usually made with a penny in the groove, no longer available so we used CS 3/4" circle with double stacked dimensionals in between.

 

 

This card used the thinlet dies and we extended the card base for a double fold.

Love, love Crisp Canteloupe.
