Card Swap 2014

The girls' got together for our annual Christmas Card swap! As usual the talent was great and a lovely afternoon sharing fellowship!

 

June used my favourite set "Lovely as a Tree"

 

Darlene's card had a pouch with a star ornament inside!

Sharon's card had lots of layered "pine branches" to make a beautiful tree!

Final Class of 2014

Last Monday was our final class for Christmas Cards this year!

 

Mingle all the way Stamp set used with our Doillies and scrap DSP.

The top card used pewter embossing powder and the 2nd option was with silver.

Three Class Dates

Now we are all in fullswing for Christmas, the class dates have been finalized...YEAH!

The dates are as follows :-  November 3rd, Blue Christmas
                                            November 17th, All Christmas
                                            December 1st, Tags and Gift card holders


We are having our annual Christmas Card Swap this year again:) so our Christmas Party (get-together)
will be on December 7th.

Here we are!

Here we are..coming to the end of October and I finally got back to the blog...a lot has been going on!
We were away on a trip to Ireland, wonderful! Since being home it has been a whirlwind of meetings, rally and more board meetings...that is all my excuses :)

Punch Art Class

Did you ever have to try and remember all the punches needed to make your favourite punch art?
This class we will make 8 technique samples for some cute card candy...
a couple of creatures, a cute baby, two Halloween/Fall and 3 Christmas... the possibilities are endless.

OOPS!

I cannot believe that it has been two whole months since my blog was updated...
During the summer months I am always a little slow on the upkeep :)
We were in Alberta during June for some family celebrations..my grandson, Adam, turned 4 and we had a Monster truck party with a huge inflatable, which was enjoyed by the kids and adults alike!
Also, my newest grandaughter, Hannah, was Baptised too... a lovely afternoon spent with family and friends.
Most of our Summer is spent at the lake...no internet...no cell...Heaven!
Now to start looking at Christmas, yes I said it Christmas..the new Holiday Catalogue is available at the end of the month and I have to prepare a Launch...but first another quick class this weekend...
