Vacation,Card Class and Birthdays!
Well, what a whirlwind three weeks! Visited family in Northern Ontario, travelled to Mackinac Island in Michigan USA. Quaint, no motorised vehicles allowed. Horse and carriage, bicycles or horseback traffic.
On to the Niagara wine region for tours and a little tasting. Niagara-on-the-lake and Niagara Falls for a couple of days then down to Lake Placid,NY . We crossed Lake Champlain to Vermont then through New Hampshire and Maine. Travelling the back roads through the Green and White mountains, finally back to New Brunswick and home to Nova Scotia!
Two days later and a card class organised, (photos to follow), Darlene surprised me with a beautiful, and delicious, birthday cake! Finally, today, my official birthday filled with wonderful wishes from the people I hold dear..THANKYOU!
I count my blessings everyday and hope you all find the same joie de vivre in yours!
